News:

January 2010 - Happy New Year from everyone at Earth Waste Systems!

December 2009 - EWS has begun the first stage of our demolition at the Ethan Allen Plant in Randolph, VT. This demolition is for the Randolph Area Community Development Corporation to make way for future housing development. This is a demolition that will continue in multiple stages throughout 2010.

November 2009 - Winter is approaching fast! We received our first snow fall this month, kicking off our season of snow removal at the busy downtown Rutland shopping plaza.

September 2009 - Earth Waste Systems is preparing to relocate our main corporate offices from downtown Rutland, VT to our newly renovated scrap yard in Castleton, VT.

April 2009 - Spring weather is finally here in Vermont, meaning EWS will be getting to work on the demolition jobs planned out over the winter months. Our first job lined up involves the removal of a large group of oversized industrial tanks of acid, which we'll first be neutralizing for safe, environmentally friendly, decommission and disposal.

February 2009 - Earth Waste Systems is proud to announce that we have purchased Fanns Auto Parts in Manchester, TN. We are very excited about acquiring Fanns, a very well known local company, and adding this new yard in Tennessee. Stay turned for more about our expansion in the south!

August 2008 - We've been having a great summer here at EWS and we hope you have been as well. Throughout the summer we've been working on a demolition of the Heritage Flight Building 890 in Burlington, VT. Also, EWS recently began an interior demolition project at Middlebury College's McCullough Student Center which will be an ongoing project for the rest of the summer. Additionally, our Castleton, VT yard is installing new state of the art scales this month for our scrap metal business. And once again, we will be sponsoring the Demolition Derby at the Champlain Valley Fair in Essex, VT on August 27th. We pay cash for your junk cars!

April 2008 - Copper prices are at an all-time high this Spring and our scrap yards have been busier than ever with scrappers from all over New York and Vermont unloading record amounts of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. To keep up with the demand we've recently closed on a new scrap yard in Glens Falls, NY which EWS plans to open for business later this year.
