At Earth Waste Systems, we understand that the future of our planet and the quality of life for future generations depends on our group efforts. With unparalleled regional logistics, expertise and equipment, Earth Waste Systems leads the way in the recovery, processing and merchanting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals in northern New England and upstate New York. We aggressively purchase and sell all scrap metal materials including junk vehicles. We operate three regional drop-off locations as well as on-site recovery and container services.

Our customers and suppliers include industrial and commercial businesses, governmental organizations, solid waste districts and individuals. Earth Waste Systems complies with all local, state, and federal environmental laws and regulations.

Prohibited Items
In order to comply with existing federal, state, local safety, environmental laws, regulations as well as Quebec Ministry of Environmental, the following items will not be accepted by Earth Waste Systems:

• Batteries or pieces of batteries (including battery terminal connectors)
• Gas tanks, propane bottles, air bag canisters, or gas cylinders
• Tires
• Any cans or other containers containing oil, brake fluid, anti-freeze, lead additives or other fluids
• Garbage, rags, paper and other debris
• Fluorescent light ballasts, capacitors, wet or dry transformers, or any other materials which may contain PCB’s
• Refrigerants, including but not limited to Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs). (Refrigerants must be properly recovered, not vented.)
• Any radioactive material or radioactive containment materials
• 55-Gallon drums must have one end removed and no residual
• Cable
• Mercury

These items are prohibited and should not be placed in our scrap metal containers. All metal generators will be held responsible for any prohibited items placed in Earth Waste Systems containers or delivered to any of our scrap metal locations.
